In 2005 I was invited by the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore to launch a new art and film school as Founding Dean. The School of Art, Design and Media, ADM, was the first BFA degree-granting professional art and film school in the country. For three years I created a space for artistic creativity within a traditional Engineering university. Hired three dozen professionals and teachers from around the world, led the curriculum development for six programs, and dealt with the early growing pains. The school is now up and running.
